The Vinyl Touch is one of London’s longest-running breakbeat events, launched in a small north London bar in 1999.
Just five years later with the help and passion of TVT’s extremely hard working team of creative individuals The Vinyl Touch parties gained masses of talk on the street resulting in attracting 1000+ people from all over the world at every event.
The Vinyl Touch kicked off with a desire to play and hear Nu Skool Breaks, from the outset the night was one of the first to book cutting-edge DJs such as The Breakfastaz and Control Z. As The Vinyl Touch grew, it took on more music policies – all the stuff we know and love to party to: drum & bass, house, old skool hardcore, and hip hop.
We created a site that looked and read like fun from start to finish with street-cred, and lots of invitations to read this, do that, or join in. The Vinyl Touch keeps the site up to date itself through our content management software (Altitude CMS powered by Textpattern).
