Content Management System

A Content Management System (CMS) gives a person or team of people the ability to easily manage a website's content without the requirement for expert technical knowledge.

Our Joomla CMS is significantly different to many others. We use open source software so you can get all the benefits of a massive development community without having to pay for the software licences.

Joomla has all the features needed to organise and manage a site's content quickly and effectively. A key part of this is that it uses intelligent templates that adapt layout to your content in a way that is planned from the beginning.

Most other systems are built to wow you with special features and extra options, mainly focusing on design. In a serious web project, however design should be fixed and planned from the beginning and you shouldn't be left to wrestle with it every time you update something.

Some recent examples of the CMS in action (other than this site) are Robyn and iCast.
